American Hospital Looking for Store Assistant Full Time

POSITION TITLE: STORE ASSISTANT-GIFT SHOP

REPORTS TO: STORES SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Receiving, storing & distribution of all items, conduction staff accommodation inventory and relocation/transfer housing furniture

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving materials from vendors in accordance with LPO issued and reports discrepancies to the Supervisor
• Check all delivered items for expiry before acceptance
• Labelling of chargeable supplies on timely basis
• Notify the Assistant Director if excess quantity is to be issued as per Department request
• Top up the items in all the Departments on the scheduled days
• Forward all paperwork on receipt of materials to the warehouse assistant for entries in the system on the same day
• Note down batch numbers and expiry date details on delivery note or invoice wherever required
• Ensure that materials are stored on the shelves in a manner whereby they can be issued on FIFO basis

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hospital / any co in supply chain
