AWS is seeking a seasoned AI/ML Sr. Specialist (or Senior Business Development Manager) to help us scale our artificial intelligence/ machine learning business and work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers to understand their requirements and turn them into reality.

Your responsibilities will include identifying market opportunities, building sales initiatives, and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration across EMEA Emerging Markets (EEM), including: Central Eastern Europe (CEE), Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and Turkey (TUR).

The ideal candidate will possess both a business and sales background that enables them to support an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus while driving change.

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute a strategic go to market plan for target markets in line with the AWS strategic direction
• Drive revenue and market share for AWS AI/ ML services
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Build and drive a robust sales pipeline
• Work with partners to drive adoption of the AI/ ML solutions.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to scale impact (e.g. solution architect, product service teams, legal, support, etc.)
• Incubate new AWS Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence services and scale existing AWS services
• Represent AWS on AI/ML at public events or blogs
• Work with senior management team on market and sales strategy, AI/ML service roadmap, and initiatives to scale impact

Role can be based out of the Dubai, UAE.
