The Team
Our highly respected Performance Improvement (PI) team is built on deep functional and industry expertise with a demonstrable and differentiated ability to address the most complex business problems and deliver dramatic and sustainable improvements.
Our highly experienced teams thrive in critical situations where clients are looking to respond to external changes such as competitor dynamics or industry disruption. We help our clients to define and redefine strategy, plan and execute transformation, and navigate complex merger integrations and carve-outs. We work with sovereign wealth and private equity funds, government ministries and bodies, and corporations across multiple industries including financial services and investment companies, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, industrials and manufacturing, and real estate and hospitality amongst others.
The Role
Due to high growth, a new opportunity exists for Abu Dhabi or Dubai based Senior Director. You will typically lead a team of 2-5 consultants to help clients, leading the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members. Working with some of the brightest and most experienced colleagues in the industry, you will develop and implement forward-looking concepts and support your clients in the context of strategy, performance improvement, transformation, operational turnaround and pre- and post-deal support.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you will benefit from the support of senior colleagues yet have the opportunity to work autonomously. You will work directly with clients – usually on-site – and own workstreams and independently develop ideas and solutions to address the client’s issues. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing leadership skills and leverage on your interest in motivating and inspiring others. Culture is important for A&M and our consultants actively participate in firm-building committees and initiatives such as recruiting, learning and development, culture, marketing, and finance.
The Requirements
To be considered, you must possess:
  • a high-grade bachelor’s degree (or equivalent/higher) from an accredited top-tier university
  • business, economics, management or similar disciplines are preferable but not essential
  • master’s degree / MBA / CFA / CA from a top-tier university is preferable but not essential
  • Industry experience in transport and logistics, retail or utilities & power segments are desirable but not essential
  • excellent financial skills and analytical rigour
  • proven ability to own, lead and deliver demanding projects to top-tier clients
  • prior full-time consulting experience or non-consulting professional services or industry work experience
  • strong problem-solving skills and financial background combined with deep understanding of business and operational drivers
  • high integrity that is characterised by the ability to deliver messages even when they are difficult to hear
  • fluency in English, both written and oral. Arabic language skills are desirable
  • previous exposure to areas such as operational restructuring, turnaround management, merger integration, carve-outs, business transformation and/or performance improvement is desirable
