Stock Controller

KEY DUTIES

• Maintain the stock inventory in a perfect condition ensuring an efficient and logical organization of all the stock rooms (product and packaging)
• Is in charge of implementing rolling inventory calendar with the support of the store manager, in order to guarantee inventory results aligned with financial target
• Manage the delivery operations, preparing and replenishing stock quickly and accurately
• Check the quality and conformity of the products delivered
• Guarantee the returns, shop to shop transfers and omnichannel logistical activities, respecting deadlines
• Ensure the right products are available on the sales floor to improve store efficiency and maximize client experience
• Improve product availability, interacting with supply chain and managing product request to answer client needs

OPERATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION

• Monitor store maintenance
• Manage stationery, uniforms, kitchen supplies, mall permit and ad-hoc administrative requirements
• Follow internal audit guidelines
• Ensure the boutiques have substantial operational support to meet customer traffic flows and operational demands
• Manage the Back of House operations (including Stockroom and Repairs) and all related policies and processes such as deliveries (potentially overnight), transfers, inventory, etc.)
• In line with country/market requirements, adhere to Health and Safety regulations and processes

GENERAL DUTIES

• Follow the company’s policies and procedures
• Be fully integrated to the store team (participate in the morning briefing) and contribute to achieving the overall objectives of the store
• Ensure high Brand and product knowledge
• Respect Alaia Brand standards in terms of grooming and behavior

PROFILE

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience ideally in the luxury retail sector
• High affinity for luxury products
• High sense of responsibility
• Being able to work in teams as well as alone
• Competent computer skills (Cegid, Excel and Word)
