OVERVIEW

Camps In Charge position is responsible work in Camps Management / Tenancy Contracts Management / MEP Maintenance/ Leasing / House keeping, Labor camp, staff and camp, offices. An employee allocated to this class of work is responsible for maintenance and repairs on camp sites to insure successful operations. Work is performed independently within established policies and procedures under the general direction of an administrative superior.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs maintenance and repairs on camp facilities including plumbing, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and electrical duties.

· Providing a monthly report to the Management highlighting the total Check- Inn’s & Check –Out’s in the Camp.

· Employees and supervises staff to operate dining facilities.

· Plans menus, prepares food supply orders, and stores food.

· Makes arrangements for disposal of garbage.

· Take responsibility for checking in and out camp grounds and non-camp groups and maintenance of records.

· Inspects all facilities and collects breakage fees.

· Supervises and orients camp counselors.

· Handle responsibility for maintaining standard first aid supplies.

· Maintains required health records to ensure proper payment of accident claims resulting from camp participation.

· Maintains liaison with medical doctors in the area.

· Handle responsibility for weekly camp attendance summary, program evaluation, counselor evaluation, and other required reports.

· Handle responsibility for collecting camp fees, depositing money in the bank, and keeping accurate financial records. I maintained VIPs rooms, Seniors rooms, Juniors rooms, labor rooms, Nationality wise.

· Handle responsibility for security of camp facilities and camp personnel.

· Handle responsibility for inventory and ordering of recreational equipment and supplies.

· Maintains liaison with forest service personnel.

· Aids in the evaluation of camp programs and personnel.

· Performs related work as required.

· Carry out inspection of accommodations, rooms, janitorial services, cleaning standards, housekeeping standards, food storage areas, dining halls and kitchen

· Conduct random inspection and ensure alertness by camp security services.

· Display of transport schedule, camp / accommodation policy, management circular on health and safety poster, medical bulletins and food menu.

· Managing & coordinating the packed meal / food to the site members as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from College/ Standard high school and considerable experience related to this class of work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience in UAE.
Eligible to be deputized.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Considerable knowledge of mechanical, carpentry, building construction, and electrical skills.
Ability to supervise the work of others.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with adults, youth, and the general public.
Ability to maintain financial records.
Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment.
Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
Ability to work independently.

Valid UAE Driver’s license (Should Familiar to all locations in Dubai / Abu Dhabi /Sharjah )
