Head the Steel Manufacturing plant operations and supervise the Production, Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, and Safety functions.
Meet targets for plant production, productivity, costs etc
Overall responsibility would include setting up systems, operations budgeting, production interface with sales, optimizing on productivity, cost, and quality and customer satisfaction.
Direct and coordinate production, processing and shipping activities of the organization.
Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or other processing problems.
Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control, lean and safety programs.
Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
Monitor business to ensure that they efficiently and effectively meet planned objectives.

Qualification Requirements:

BE / B Tech (Mechanical)
12 to 15 years in heavy structural steel fabrication or related industry.
Last 5 years in Senior Management level
Good communication skills
High leadership Skills
Result oriented
Excellent people management skills
Knowledge of Factory laws
