Overview of the role

Data networking / Wi-Fi / Network security / Virtualization engineer to achieve prompt maintenance services and completion of projects within the planned time and cost.

Assist Sales Account Manager in growing revenue from existing customers.

Ownership of projects completion and revenue generation from new projects and change requests.

Assist Support Manager with incident management, problem management, Service Request Management, Service Transitioning, Continual Service Improvements, and reducing cost and improving targets.

What you will do

• Coordinate with customers and managed services manager to design service delivery through NOC and field services.
• Implement the solution as specified.
• After-sales support maintenance as per SLA signed with customers
• Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of the data network infrastructure in coordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.
• Lead the project to deliver Data networking and Wi-Fi solutions at customer site
• Ensure the committed timelines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost, and quality.
• Ensure all project deliverables are tracked and communicated as per stakeholders’ requirements
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level network hardware and applications.
• Providing post-sales support to customers.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions in a timely manner for the complex multi-vendor networks.
• Provide support for project implementation & documentation.
• Training to customers on system usage.
• Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.

Project Quality Management

• Ensure the quality of all assigned projects executed/ achieved according to the quality standards defined by the project brief resulting in receipt of the Completion Certificate.

Administrative & Coordination Support

• Ensure excellent documentation management and day to day activities are undertaken to the required standards.
• Assist with the preparation, coordination and updating of the business reports.
• Provide a high collaboration level to support and assistance to other departments and senior managers whenever needed.

Service Delivery

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction with the 24×7 Support.

Required Skills to be successful

• Various certifications in data and Wi-Fi from Cisco /Aruba / Alcatel – Lucent.
• Expert level of certification and working experience on
  • Cisco Routing & Switching
  • Cisco Security
  • Cisco, Aruba & Ruckus Wi-Fi
  • Alcatel Lucent Networking
  • Fortinet Firewalls
• Must have full network lifecycle experience including gathering requirements, design, test, documentation, configuration and maintenance.
• Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation.
• Additional experience in Server storage will get preference.

What equips you for the role

• Graduate engineer in Electronics / Telecom / IT/ computer science .
• Minimum 8 years of experience in implementation of data networking / Wi-Fi / Network security.
