Job Description1. Resource Management:Coordinate with various departments to ensure availability of resources required for project activities.Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.Provide input on resource requirements and constraints during the project planning phase.5. Communication and Collaboration:Facilitate regular project review meetings with stakeholders to communicate schedule status, issues, and action plans.Collaborate with different teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to gather necessary information for schedule updates.Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.6. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management, highlighting project performance and areas needing attention.Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.At least 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil and gas industry.Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Certifications in project management (such as PMP) are often preferred.
