Helium is a unique molecule in the Group portfolio, serving both industrial merchant and electronics business lines. It offers many growth opportunities in diverse markets, which notably include electronics, MRI, space, cryogenics, specialty gases, diving, airbags, fiber optics, airships, metal fabrication and recreational markets. The limited number of helium sources in the world requires operational excellence to ensure the continuous supply of our customers, in a competitive environment.

Air Liquide Global Helium, headquartered in Dubai, UAE, is a global organization in charge of helium sourcing and international supply-chain for the Group. The responsibilities of Air Liquide Global Helium operations & supply chain team include the transport on road and sea freight segments between helium sources and Air Liquide affiliates, the performance of specific services in “logistic and technical platforms” located in strategic locations on the supply chain, the maintenance of an appropriate number of cryogenic containers to deliver helium over the world.

Missions and Responsibilities

This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity which will allow the successful candidate to gain real insight into the Human Resources function and its role within the organization. The main tasks will be the following ones:

• Create ALGH HR Handbook, review and distribute company policies/handbook in digital formats or hard copies
• Assist the HR with the employee survey
• Provide administrative support to the HR team
• Any other topics arising at that moment

Competencies and Profile

Area of competence

• Excel proficiency
• Google Suite proficiency
• Knowledge of P2P/ Active Cycle

The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning more about the role of Human Resources within an organization and should ideally display the following:

• 4th year student of Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management or similar field
• Basic knowledge of UAE labor law/legislation.
• Detail-oriented and organizational skills
• High level of competency and accuracy in written communication. Maintain clear, structured and professional documentation relating to customers
• Strong relationship skills and ability to create a relationship of trust
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Good English language skills both spoken and written
