Job Description
We are looking for a Data Entry Officer to transfer information from our database to excel. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Understanding data confidentiality principles is compulsory. Previous experience as a Data Entry Officer or similar position will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
o Transferring data from online databases into excel within time limits
o Accurately type data provided from customers
o Create spreadsheets without mistakes
o Scan documents and print files
o Verify data by comparing it to source
o Update existing data
o Retrieve data from the database or excel files as requested
o Administration of the database to ensure smooth operation
o Address any malfunctions which may occur within the database
Requirements
o Proven experience as a data entry clerk
o Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch-typing is strongly preferred
o Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
o Good command of English both oral and written
o Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
o Great attention to detail
