Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Purchasing Executive for our client, a large landscaping business in Dubai. The primary function of the successful candidate is to oversee all aspects of the procurement function of the business. You will be planning, liaising with suppliers, managing materials whilst ensuring budgets and quality are not compromised

This role is for a permanent placement based in Dubai. On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local company with an international supplier base, who offer variety, exciting projects and variation.

Job Summary: You will be a well-seasoned Purchaser who is self-driven and detail orientated, with at least 5-10 years experience of working in the horticulture or landscaping business. You will need an understanding of the requirements of Dubai’s climates when it comes to products and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate and finalize best price.
• Procure and research into required products with competitive pricing.
• Maintain communication with all parties at all times.
• Ensure timely orders and deliveries working with accounts and suppliers.
• Inventory Management
• Quality Control
• Maintaining an up to database.

The Successful Applicant must have:

• Degree Qualification in Sales/Marketing or business
• Have experience of landscaping and planting products within the GCC
• Confident communicator with good negotiation skills verbally and written.
• Excellent Computer skills and data management software.
• Critical thinking ability to think outside the box and be solution focused.
• Resilience – not all things can go to plan and irregular hours may be required time to time.
