Adecco is currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager for our client, a large landscaping business in Dubai. The primary function of the successful candidate is to oversee the day to day operations of a busy Nursery. You will be customer and sales focused with a attention to stock, staffing, and growth with a passion for excellence.

This role is for a permanent placement based in Dubai. On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local company within their retail side of the business.

Job Summary: You will be a well-seasoned Nursery Manager who is a self-driven go-getter, well organised to achieve the companies’ goals. You will have at least 10 years operations with experience of working in sales within the horticulture, gardening or landscaping business. You will need an understanding of the requirements of Dubai’s climates when it comes to products and quality. Be confident and customer focused to deliver an exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating nurseries.

• Oversee, improve and succession planning if a high performing business.

• Inventory reporting, budgeting, planning, ordering of products.

• Managing and upskilling a workforce.

• Quality control in store and for transportation of product.

• Creative flair for garden and plant displays, sales and up-sells.

• Customer focused at all times to increase sales and client base.

• Growing, monitoring and preparing product.

The Successful Applicant must:

• Have 10+ Years in a similar role.

• Hold a degree or above in Horticulture / Agriculture.

• Be a confident communicator who happily collaborates with projects.

• Have excellent Management, training and recruitment ability of a team.

• Have excellent knowledge of plant production, soil, fertilizers and growing techniques.

• Possess knowledge of importing plants.

• 1st Class Customer service skills and be passionate about plants.
