JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Skills and Background
Degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience designing, managing, and implementing relational databases
Strong understanding of relational database concepts (relationships, indexing, primary/foreign keys, types of joins)
Understanding of ACID principles
Familiarity with Java and Hibernate
Python experience (2+ years)
Strong skillset in SQL
Experience developing and using ETL data pipelines, especially in cloud environments
Desirable Skills
Experience working with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
Experience working with database caches (Redis)
Experience developing database solutions in the travel industry
NoSQL experience (e.g. DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
