Job Description


Regional Director Revenue Management

Provide strategic Revenue Management support to a current and new opening hotels across Asia Europe Middle-East & Africa in order to maintain luxury positioning and maximize revenue and profits. Drive a Revenue Management culture through a permanent development of the teams and a professional use of Fairmont RM Solutions and processes. Optimize revenues by actively analyzing, monitoring and reporting on revenue KPI’s and assist Revenue Managers to find growth opportunities and business potential. Focus on improving market share through pricing, inventory, distribution, sales strategies and pre-opening consultation. Guide properties in setting their goals, budget planning and forecasting.

What you will be doing:

  • Maximize rooms revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory, pricing and optimal business mix
  • Contribute in enhancing the Total Revenue Management Culture across the region
  • Maximize Profit Contribution
  • Conduct hotels Commercial/Revenue Management Reviews/Audits and Action Plans for Focus Hotels
  • Monitor common revenue opportunity trends in the area, stay updated with industry developments (conferences/seminars), develop synergies & sales/pricing coherence among area hotels
  • Make recommendations to marketing, digital, distribution and sales teams for shifting demand-driving actions to match need periods / areas
  • Review the effectiveness of the pricing optimization at hotel level through definition and management of all rates, rate levels, stay restrictions and other RM tactics, which are congruent with demand factors and which are managed through all distribution channels
  • Lead the RM Critical Path of New Hotels Opening within the portfolio
  • Align and Provide month-end reporting and analysis on performance
  • Monitor Total revenue forecasting to accurately project unconstrained demand, and support hotels in taking corrective actions, in addition improve forecasting accuracy
  • Implement Revenue Management Systems and tools to ensure that appropriate strategies are implemented and special events are accurately loaded.
  • Align Distribution strategy within the portfolio
  • Work with the hotels and Sales Teams to create effective selling strategies
  • Maximize market share of the area portfolio by tracking and analysis of competitive set pricing and yield strategies, gaining the ability to predict the comp set reaction to changes in the marketplace.
  • Support on Driving dynamic pricing vs static contracting
  • Implement Revenue on Demand services to the hotels without resources
  • Assessment of the current skillset and Succession Planning
  • Support BI with enrollment of BI Tool and its usage among the hotels

Qualifications

  • Luxury brand experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • At least 3-5 year experience in a similar position of direct responsibility for Revenue Management
  • Knowledge of total hotel revenue management concepts, processes and strategies
  • Knowledge of Financial KPI’s, statements, operating budgets, forecasting and reporting
  • Ability to gather information, analyze and make strategic decisions and recommendations
  • Ability to introduce change effectively
  • Good personal presentation skills
  • Friendly & outgoing personality
  • English, French and preferred Arabic language skills
