Educational Qualification

ITI / DIPLOMA in Electrical & Instrumentation.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in engineering maintenance in Manufacturing, Packaging, Chemical or FMCG Industry.

Core Skills

Awareness of work-related shop floor, Chemical hazards use of adequate PPEs and permit to work system.

1. Hands-on experience in engineering maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of plant equipment and machinery like-

• Instrumentation – (PLC, Logic control, SCADA, VFD, HMI )
• Fire Hydrant pumps, Fire safety system
• Semi-automatic liquid and powder filling machines ( for Conipail, jerrycan & bottles).
• Semi-automatic Labeling machine and inkjet printers
• Electro-mechanical equipment – motor, gearbox, Pumps(with mechanical seal & gland) blower fan, conveyor belt, slat conveyor, screw feeder, Electrical and pneumatic Hoist, agitator /mixer, dust collectors etc
• Pneumatics- Pneumatic cylinder, control valves, Butterfly/Ball valves with pneumatic actuators and position feedback unit
• Hydraulic Power packs, cylinders and lifting devices.
• Hoist- (Chain Hoist, Pneumatic Hoist, Rope Hoist, Crane Hoist )

2. Adequate knowledge and ability to read and interpret P&ID, equipment drawing, SLD, control drawings, layout, sketches, operations, maintenance manual, etc.

3. Experience on doing the periodic inspection and preventive maintenance as per the defined checklist and schedule

4. Breakdown maintenance and knowledge of spare part management e.g. maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; 5. Good analytical skills and problem-solving capability.

6. Knowledge and usage of tools and tackles, test and measurement instrument.

7. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

8. Capability of suggesting improvement initiatives to reduce breakdown, improve safety, reduction of rejects/ waste, energy and cost saving etc.

9. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

10. Actively participates in rebuilds/overhauls

11. Computer Literacy will be added advantage.

12. Language: Fair written and spoken English
