The SKA Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement & Logistics Assistant. The ideal candidate will support the procurement team by driving the company van to collect supplies from vendors, managing stock, coordinating logistics, and assisting with purchasing tasks. This role is essential to ensuring smooth logistics operations and efficient procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:Stock Management:Conduct stock-taking and prepare OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) reports for consolidated goods intended for export.Ensure proper documentation and tracking of goods.Logistics Coordination:Coordinate the booking of containers with agents and ensure proper scheduling.Share packing lists with airlines to facilitate smooth shipping processes.Procurement Support:Assist in the preparation of cost comparisons and maintain organized Excel spreadsheets for pricing and procurement analysis.Collaborate with the procurement department on administrative tasks as needed.Obtain quotes from suppliers for various products and materials.Driving:Operate the company van to collect supplies from vendors and deliver them to the warehouse facility.Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.Additional Tasks:Support the procurement team with any other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of logistics and supply chain functions.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of work experience in the UAE.Valid UAE driving license (experience driving Hiace van or equivalent).Basic knowledge of procurement processes and logistics.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ideal background: Experience in logistics and freight forwarding companies, automotive parts, and/or general trading sectors.How to Apply:Please send an updated CV to: [email protected] with the subject title: Procurement and Logistics Assistant -DubaiNote: Direct call to the recruiter will not be entertained,, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted…SKA provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, local or international laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
