NVOCC stands for Non-Vessel Owning Common Carrier. NVOCC operation comprises sales, stuffing, and transport of the containers to gateway ports. The NVOCC performs all the functions of a carrier like – issuing bills of lading, publishing tariffs, except providing actual ocean or intermodal transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
– Represent customers in customs clearance process.
– Collect documents for customs clearance of goods.
– Issue customs documents and keep records of relevant documents.
– Work with specialised customs software.
– Liaise with customers.
– Responsible for related administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:
– Must possess UAE experience in handling Overseas LCL LCL/ LCL (Less Container Loads) in groupage containers with arrival at Jebel Ali Port.
– Experience in De-consolidated / Unpacking Services within a warehouse as a container freight station (CFS).
– Experience in delivering the individual LCL / LCL shipment to the overseas issued house sea waybill to the consignee within the UAE.
