The Warehouse in charge is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely delivery of goods.Responsibilities:1. Warehouse Operations Management:Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe working environment.Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.2. Inventory Management:Implement inventory management systems and procedures to track stock levels and movement accurately.Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.Develop strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce stockouts while meeting customer demand.3. Order Fulfillment:Coordinate order processing and fulfillment to meet customer delivery requirements.Ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders within specified timelines.Monitor order status and address any issues or delays to maintain customer satisfaction.4. Internal Transfers and Logistics Coordination:Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouses and internal departments.Collaborate with the logistics team to arrange transportation for incoming materials and outgoing shipments.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of internal transfers and shipments.Responsible for the counting process in the warehouses.5. Quality Control:Implement quality control measures to ensure product integrity and compliance with quality standards.Conduct inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products to identify any quality issues.Collaborate with other departments to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.6. Communication and Collaboration:Cooperate with other departments, including sourcing, procurement, demand planning, and logistics, to ensure alignment of warehouse activities with overall supply chain objectives.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate activities and resolve any issues or concerns.Provide regular updates on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment metrics to management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).Arabic speaking.Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.FMCG background (working in building materials company is a plus)
