The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn. Your day to day

• Accountability for own performance and work to the required standards
• Responds quickly to requests for help
• Understands the importance of their own role in creating the guest experience
• Looks for opportunities to develop own skills
• Supports required changes
• Prepare all administration documents required by the Hotel sales, marketing & revenue team
• Attend to telephone, fax, email inquiries in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate all fam’s and site inspections as required
• Attend sales meetings as required
• Attend to all sales department mail and maintain a correspondence database
• Assist with direct mail / EDM campaigns
• Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic)
• Maintenance and management of database
• Assist with promotions and fam’s where requested
• Organize Trade shows, functions and exhibitions where applicable and advised by Superiors
• Assist with compilation of annual budgets, business plans, and regular action plans
• Assist with tender submissions
• Stock control of collateral and tracker
• Maintain stock of printed material
• Co-ordinate and maintain a supply of corporate gifts and promotional items
• Assist with the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans for the hotel
• Distributes sales leads
• Work in line with business needs
• Responsible for sending Meeting Planner Survey
• Communicating Daily Event Listings
• Responsible for issuing and tracking voucher
• Responsible on Payroll
• Assisting Director of Sales, Director of Marketing, and Director of Convention & Events

What we need from you

• Good communication and administrative skills
• Ability to be self-motivated, organized, and demonstrate good teamwork
• Fluency in English
• Computer literacy (Microsoft applications)
• Opera, Delphi
• Pro-active approach, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the service industry or Sales & Marketing environment
