Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing GL Accounting entries – such as provisions, amortization and month close entries.
• Handling monthly accounting activities such as preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, detailed review of prepaid and accrual schedules, validation of prepayments and deposits, maintaining month end checklists, etc, in line with internal timelines and internal control procedures and policies.
• Responsible for managing and verifying the data load into the Hyperion reporting system for monthly actuals and forecast along with performance of checks and balances.
• Preparation of monthly / quarterly schedules for management reporting.
• Ability to perform adhoc analysis from the accounting system(s) for management and external reporting.
• Interface with Accounting Team, Project accounting team and system support for various monthly/quarterly deliverables.
• Interface with External Auditors and Consultants for support of statutory audits and other compliance requirements.

• Bachelors in Accounting
• 2 to 3 years work experience in a related construction industry
• Experience Proficiency with Microsoft products, Excel, Word,
• Experience in an ERP Accounting / Reporting Software is a plus (example: (JDE) JD Edwards, Hyperion, SAP, etc)
