WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will be an integral member of the Middle East Finance Team. You will deliver expertise in areas including but not limited to treasury, intercompany, month end, audit and perform the following tasks:

Treasury

• Manage performance and bid bonds
• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations for all entities and post necessary journals
• Monitor and resolve bank issues
• Prepare weekly cash forecast and general cash management
• Petty cash management

Intercompany

• Manage intercompany settlements
• Reconcile intercompany balances

Month End

• Maintain fixed asset registers and complete depreciation postings
• Prepare and post month-end journals (including accruals, amortization etc)
• Perform month-end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Assist the Senior Accounting Specialist in the preparation of the monthly closings

Final & Interim Financial Audits and In Country Audits

• Support the annual financial audit process and In Country value audits through the preparation of schedules
• Liaise with the local finance team in preparing all other required documentation and schedules for the financial audits and In Country Value audits

Other

• Manage insurance renewals with the support of the Global Insurance Team
• Support in the RFP process where required
• Maintain orderly filing system
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Relevant bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years relevant experience, preferably at a professional services firm
• Preferably a CA or CPA qualification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English
• Ability of using data-based systems and report running
• Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential

YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will work closely with other Accounting Specialists and the Accounting Manager as well as the wider Finance team.
