Job Title

Finance Analyst – Retail Payment Solution

Business

Job Purpose

Under the general supervision of the Finance Controller- Financial accounting & Systems job holder expected to manage the increased volume and complexity of potentially dealing with multiple interface requirements by monitoring, reconciling and refunding of transactions relating to various payment solutions in coordination with business units, payment partners, IT and payment processors.

Principal Accountabilities

Transaction Monitoring

Timely action on customer queries routed through Call Centre/Fuel Marketing/DSG for refund of unsuccessful topup or duplicate transaction.

Confirm the charges associated with payment card processing and ensure that they are in line with the merchant agreement.

Verify VAT calculations and ensure that it is in line with FTA regulations.

Respond to chargeback notifications and credit card company inquiries within the time frame specified on the notification.

Gateways should be closely managed and reconciled as needed. Ensure the system/website application are processing the correct amounts.

Fraudulent transactions should be refunded back to the card when detected.

Ensure termination of payment solution access when an employee leaves the company

Communicate with GFS for timely booking of Tax invoices received for each chain ID

IT Coordination

• Responsible for interacting with IT with a view to ensuring accuracy of transactions. Coordinate with payment partners for any system issues/enhancements.

Financial Accounting

• Prepare bank entries, commission and receivable from payment partners based on payment terms (Ex: Beam)

Payment Partner Reconciliation

• Prepare reconciliation for payment partners’ transaction (Ex-Beam, Nol, DSG) with ENOC system, amount received and commission as per Contract terms.

Bank Reconciliation (for electronic payment solutions)

• Perform a daily reconciling between the daily transactions from the system/website to what is received in NI portal and from NI portal to designated bank account
• Monthly reconciliation of the designated bank account used for various payment solutions.

Continuous Process Imp rovement

• Contribute to identifying improvement in payment solution process relating to system integration, reconciliation and call center application.
• Update the procedures in line with the current business process.

Audit

Dealing with the various Auditors such as the external, internal and Govt. auditors to resolve the queries raised b such auditors on various matters relating payment solutions.

Educational Qualification:
University degree 111 Finance

Experience: 3 to 5 years of handling fixed assets and projects

System Skills:
ERP system exposure, MS Office, o
