Automotive Technicians/Denter/Painter/Mechanic

Dubai / Skilled Migration – Automotive Technicians / Permanent – Full Time / On-site 2. JOB PURPOSE: To ensure that the assigned body repairs are executed in line with XA Prestige work procedures and specifications, Time standards and housekeeping standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded. Competencies – Denting and Body Technician – Level 1 Re-shaping sheet metal with hammer and dolly. – Application and sanding of putty – Basic welding Carry out level 1 repair above. – Remove and refit body parts. – Repair damaged panels with washer welder – Reshaping through metal shrinking – Working with different types of welding i.e.. spot, Mig, Electric, washer etc. – Plasma cutting – Windshield replacement – rubber weather strip type and adhesive type. Body Technician – level 2 Carry out Level 2 repair above – Reshape complex panel surface using washer welder. – Repair by panel cutting and joining. – Quarter panel cutting and joining – Repair by use of Body Aligner Equipment. Body Technician – Level 3 Carry our Level 3 repair above. – Repair by advanced use of Body Aligner Equipment. – Alignment of frame type as well as monologue type body. – Replacement of side members – Final inspection and quality control – Ensure care and maintenance of equipment. Paint trouble shooting and resolution Rust causation and prevention Auto Mechanic Responsibilities: · Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately · Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. · Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters. · Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. · Conducting routine maintenance work aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity. · Well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. · Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. · Must be able to communicate well to provide advice to customers · Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use · Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job · Keep logs of work and issues. Auto Mechanic Requirements: · 6 – 8 years of proven experience as an auto mechanic. · Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. · High school diploma or equivalent. · Additional education, certifications, or experience is preferred. · Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions. · Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment. · Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills. · Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic
