Nord Anglia International School Dubai
NAS Dubai is a purpose built ‘flagship school’ generously resourced with an enrolment touching 2222.Our curriculum is based upon the legacy of the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment leading up to GCSE and on to the IB Diploma programme, and A Levels introduced this year. Our GCSE pass rate is a 100% overall pass with 48% A* and 97% of 5 or above and a 39.4-point IB average points score with 40% achieving more than 54% points and one with a perfect 45!

We are currently looking to recruit a full time and experienced Learning Support Assistant to support secondary students within the subjects of English, Maths and Science.
The role
You will be providing personalised support on a 1:1 and small group basis with secondary students aged between Year 7 and Year 11.
The ideal candidate
To be considered for this position, you must have:
The school has high standards for its students and is looking for someone who thrives towards maintaining high academic attainment. The ideal candidate will be confident and successful in teaching students who have learning difficulties and who have followed the UK National Curriculum. The candidate’s experience should include working with secondary aged students across the core subject areas. The candidate will be required to prepare and deliver one-to-one tutorials and small group teaching sessions for secondary aged students. The ability to work alongside other stakeholders to enhance student participation is paramount for this role. The candidate will be supporting students, teachers and parents to develop personalised educational plans (PEPs) and develop the provision according to the student’s specific needs.
The candidate will work alongside the school SENCO as well as a small and friendly Personalised Learning team.

Remuneration will be competitive.
Selection Process
The closing date for application is 10th June 2022. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews that will take place in the week beginning 15th June 2022.
This is a full-time vacancy, starting from 1st September 2022
