Responsibilities:
· Reconcile cash register at the end of every shift
· Generate accurate reports of each cash register
· Manage and perform all check out functions on a daily basis
· Manage the checkout area and ensure each station remains clean and efficiently run
· Respond to operators’ requests for price checks and other functions for customer service
· Listen to customer complaints and questions and refer them to the assistant manager when required
· Ensure all stations have adequate cash and change at all times
· Serve as the primary point-of-contact for customer service associates
Skills
· Have good organizational and decision-making skills to make fast decisions and prevent slowdowns.
· Must be detail-oriented.
· Good at basic math and having an attention to detail to avoid errors.
· Good communication skills
· Good customer service skills
· Enjoy clerical and administrative tasks
· Able to work quickly and accurately
