Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for a talented Purchasing Manager to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

Your day to day

The responsibilities of this role will be to manage and control purchasing systems and procedures to continually improve the supply chain process, ensure cost effective contracting of products and services, and promote compliance internally with established standards.

Overseeing purchase of all food and non-food items for the hotel through the company’s key purchasing suppliers and other key vendors. Work with vendors to obtain supplies to meet specialized needs, and maintain effective purchasing relationships as necessary.

The role require to work closely with the Hotels Department’s to ensure correct and adequate supplies are purchased, and that timely delivery is ensured.

Responsibilities will include, focus on timely day to day supplies for F&B and Kitchen, while also ensuring the right quality of produce with the best price, is maintained.

What we need from you

Adequate purchasing experience with a minimum of 5 years within the Dubai market, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g. negotiating, performing asset management duties; providing business projections, etc
