We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our Finance Team. This role will involve working closely with across different department, ensuring our finance processes and procedures are being properly observed and run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company. Solid understanding with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is advantageous, as is knowledge of Xero Accounting system.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate the decision-making process and ensure success of the company
• Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Ensures an up-to-date submission of financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports
• Handles the payment processes, including verifying and processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers
• Manages the invoicing and collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, following up on outstanding payments, and resolving customer queries related to invoices
• Inventory management
• Maintains Cash Position Report
• Aids in tax preparation and compliance tasks, gathering necessary financial information, completing tax forms, and assisting with tax research and documentation
• Assists in timely submission of VAT and Corporate Tax
• Assists in payroll processing, maintaining employee records, calculating wages, benefits, and deductions, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations (WPS)
• Ability to work independently and to interact with management, auditors, and regulators
• Performs such other duties and functions as maybe assigned by the top management
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
– A University Degree (preferably a degree in BS Accountancy)
– Minimum 2 years work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
– Middle East Region experience is an advantage
– Proficient in Cloud based systems, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
– Knowledge in Xero Accounting Software is an advantage
– Knowledge/experience using Mac is an advantage
