Job Description
Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons, in performing their tasks effectively and efficiently.
Handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to the worksite, ensuring they are organized and readily available.
Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials, promoting a safe working environment.
Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures as needed.
Perform basic construction tasks, including digging trenches, mixing and pouring concrete, and operating hand tools under the guidance of experienced workers.
Support the installation and assembly of construction components, such as walls, roofs, windows, and doors.
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain and care for construction tools, equipment, and machinery, reporting any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
Candidate Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is preferred
Physical stamina and strength to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
