Job Description
Responsibilities
· Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger entries.
· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other
financial doentation.
· Reconcile bank statements, financial accounts, and credit card and cash transactions to
ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income
statements, and cash flow statements.
· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end
closing processes.
· Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and internal policies, as well as
adherence to international accounting standards.
· Posting all month-end closing journals and maintaining necessary schedules.
· Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise ethical practices in
handling financial data.
· Stay updated with changes in accounting principles, regulations, and industry best
practices.

Candidate Requirements
Requirements and skills
· Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
· Work experience 2+ years in UAE in accounting, Preferably in Restaurant industry.
· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including IFRS
· Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
· Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
· Experience with general ledger functions
· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
