Job Description: PMO Senior Manager – Gas Projects
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO Senior Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and delivering successful projects. As the PMO Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) for projects division. This role requires exceptional leadership, project management, and industry-specific knowledge to ensure the effective delivery of projects portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Gas projects team.
- Establish and maintain project management methodologies and best practices for Gas projects.
- Oversee and manage PMO performance with defined KPIs and metrics.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks and reporting structures for Gas projects.
- Allocate resources effectively and collaborate with HR for skilled personnel.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Develop and manage project budgets, implementing cost control measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and Gas projects.
- Ensure successful delivery of complex Gas projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a PMO Manager or similar leadership role, specifically in projects.
- In-depth understanding of Gas industry practices, regulations, and challenges.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex Gas projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
