About the Role We are recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Admissions Secretary. The Front of House team is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining strong communication with parents, handling queries, and being the liaison between other school personnel.
The candidate will organise and manage the admission procedures of students. Will be responsible for ensuring all students are registered in accordance with the GEMS enrollment process and the specific governing body. You will support the Registrar on the annual enrollment process and work closely with the Government Relations Executive (GRE) to ensure all transfer certificates meet school requirements. You will also be responsible for following up on outstanding offers and admissions processes and maintaining or creating files for all new applicants.
About Your Benefits – Meet with prospective parents; explain admission procedures, curriculum, fees structures and MOE regulations. Provide assistance to ensure all admissions documentation is completed effectively
– Respond to all enrolment inquiries, telephone calls and email, courteously and in a timely manner.
– Assist current students with Visa, Verification of Enrolment and other letters as requested.
– Prepare reports for the School Principal/CEO and the Corporate Office of current enrolments, waiting lists and the status of vacant seats. In addition, provide statistical reports on students (nationalities, age, gender, etc) as required.
– Update, maintain and manage the student information OASIS database ensuring that up to date information is available on a daily basis. Maintain communication with other GEMS schools Registrars in a similar target market and ensure that prospective parents are steered to an alternative school if chosen school is currently at full capacity.
– Assist in preparing all Exit documentation for students withdrawing from the school (Transcripts, Transfer Certificates, etc.).
– Maintain and create files for all new applicants, new students, current students, exiting students and alumnis.
