Future Pipe Industries Hiring for Field Services Engineer at Abu Dhabi Full Time

Lead & monitor the site installation activities so that work will be completed in line with the Contract parameters and standard FPI quality requirements

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Costing and Contract reviews

• Provide installation work estimates/ quotations as per the company’s standards
• Define scope of works and related conditions
• Ensure contract amounts are in line with the offered costs
• Ensure contract clauses are in line with the offered terms and conditions

Planning and Control of Site Work Activities

• Implement and control site execution to meet schedules
• Ensure that qualified manpower is trained and allocated effectively on the sites for more efficient and high-quality results
• Coordinate activities so outputs meet budget requirements and standard quality Properly hand over project to clients as per the closing procedure

Documentation & Records

• Generate Specific Method Statements and Site Quality Plans including ITP’s
• Ensure all site reports are being filled/carried out as per the Site Quality Plan and provide site status reports on a regular basis

Project Invoicing & reports

• Initiate invoice to client for completed works and check that payments are received as per contract terms and conditions
• Ensure contracts are renewed or amended when extended or with additional order

Control of Tools & Equipment / Asset Inventories

• Monitor all company’s tools & vehicles to be returned to the company in good condition for future usage

Direction of Subordinates

• Organise and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of mechanical activity is carried out in an efficient and compliant manner
• Ensure that subordinates are trained to meet plant requirement and are motivated

HSE

• Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures
• Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required
• Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
• Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations
• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
• Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION

• Internal: Line Managers, Finance, Sales, Projects, Production, Delivery & QC Teams
• External: End Users, Contractors, Subcontractors, Third Party Inspectors

JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY)

• Define standard working instructions/procedures for all Site activities upon approval by the Engineering Field Service Manager prior to implementation.

Skills

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of Site Supervision experience
• Experience in fiber glass pipe manufacturing and installation related environments

Job-Specific Skills:

• On-site construction experience
• Knowledge of piping systems related to fibreglass is preferable.
• Knowledge in Cost Estimation processes
• Ability to issue invoices as requested.
• Good Planning, analysis, and Estimation Skills
