About The Role

As a Marine Mammal Specialist 4, you will deliver and bring the myth of Atlantis to life using your knowledge and charismatic delivery to ensure our guests have the most unforgettable experience.

You will be responsible for ensuring the healthy and sanitary living conditions, proper nutrition, and constant care for all our marine mammals.

This includes daily maintenance of the facilities and water testing.

Day to day monitoring and observing behavioural patterns of our animals and reporting any abnormalities or change of normal animal behaviour, whilst ensuring that all records are maintained will also form part of your daily routine.

Playing a supportive role in dolphin interaction presentations, education and conservation efforts will also be part of this role.

About You

Our ideal will have a certificate of Open Water Scuba Certification together with an understanding of animal training and animal husbandry principles (curatorial skills) with emphasis on employee, guest and animal safety.

You will also be confident incorporating concepts, theories and techniques used to interact with animals through Behavior and Enrichment Management and have excellent communication skills necessary to interract with hotel guests.
