Job Purpose
Developing Cognos Business Intelligence (BI), including design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Group Reporting in BI connected to TM1.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall Coverage
• Must have 4-6 yrs technical experience working with technologies related to various Data Analytics and Visualization tools
with developing a planning and reporting model in IBM Cognos TM1 and Cognos Analytics.
• Working with reporting and cube technology, support on TM1 budget and forecasting models and data flows.
• Understanding and experience in TM1 Cubes/Rules/TI Processes/Active Forms/TM1 Web.
• Design, code, test, and analyze TM1 applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying TM1 applications, being the backup of the TM1 Sr Developer
• Create reports and forms in TM1 Perspective and TM1 Web.
• Analyze business requirements, document, and build the application.
• What if scenario analysis, Forecasting/Budgeting/Planning. Understanding complex business requirements such as rules, TI process, model etc.
Data Analysis & Management
• Evaluate existing processes and identify areas of improvement.
• Knowledge on Supporting and maintenance Of TM1 applications,
• Strong experience in design, development and improving the performance of reports in Cognos.
• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
• Implement the policies and procedures for effectively managing the Data Analytics environment (database, workflows, front end);
• Analyse data results using statistical and other specific techniques and prepare relevant periodic reports as directed by the team. .
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of Proven experience as a COGNOS TM1 consultant.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Practical experience in business analytics or intelligence along with working knowledge of a variety of data analysis techniques.
• Analytical abilities to examine the current processes of an organization and come up with creative ways of solving them.
