Join our dedicated Air Logistics Operational Care team in Dubai and play a key role in the transportation of our customers’ goods on their journey across the globe, ensuring attention to details and excellent customer service.

Your Role

As an Operational Care Specialist, you will play a key role in our Air Logistics department providing Export services for our customers. You will be responsible for executing the customers’ requirements for their shipment in cooperation with the Customer Care Team and Revenue Care Center, ensuring a high level of customer service. You will work closely with your Operational Care colleagues, the Customer Care colleagues and Revenue care colleagues to make sure that customer requirements are understood, checked and accurately processed in the system to ensure the correct and timely transportation of goods.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operational care colleagues, customer care team and revenue care center to maximize customer service deliverables.
• Partner with carrier and ground handling agent as well as packing/inspection company to ensure smoothness of cargo execution.
• Road-planning and Ability to secure space as well as rates negotiation with airlines.
• Service excellence through a high level of forwarding and market knowledge, ensuring all orders are carried out to the agreed service levels, procedures and key performance indicators.
• Productivity/cost optimization on consolidation, route planning, products development via various modes of transportation i.e. sea/air, air/air, air/land, etc.
• Special vertical products execution i.e. aerospace, pharmaceuticals, perishables and general export.
• Review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions to clarify any deviations or conflicts for instance country regulations, compliance or internal pricing information.
• Ensure compliance in line with Kuehne + Nagel guidelines, adhere to industry and legal standards across the functions i.e. Quality, Security, Health & Safety and Environment standards.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Proven experience in an excellent knowledge of Air Logistics
• Ability to work to the required operational quality standards both through own initiative as well as building strong relationships and collaborating with the team and stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, fulfil critical tasks on time and keep to deadlines.
• Innovation and drive for solutions.
• Resilience to manage change, embrace new technologies and quickly understand and execute new processes.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues in the transportation process.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluency in English is required for the role
