We are a celebrated restaurant and café situated in Marina Walk Dubai.
We require Chef who has demonstrated experience in Italian cuisines.
As a Chef:
You will be Controlling and directing the entire BOH and the food preparation process and all relative activitiesDesign Menus with new or existing culinary creationsIdentify and report repairs that are requiredBe fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staffReview, control & approve all daily paper duties, weekly schedules, wastage forms, attendance sheets of the kitchen.Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsLiaise with the purchasing department to ensure prompt and efficient purchasing, issuing of supplies, stock and inventory control.Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations.Make recommendations to the management for improvement.Make sure that food is prepared, labelled with shelf life properly and stored up to the standards and delivered according to the used record provided.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as ChefProven ability of kitchen managementUp-to-date with culinary trendsGood understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office and POS)Credentials in health and safety trainingDegree in Culinary science or related certificate will be desiredExperience in Italian Kitchen, Arabic Kitchen and any other is required
