Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Construction Sales Representative to join our team at [FUTURE IDEA BUILDING CONTRACTING]. As a Construction Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the construction industry. You will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing existing relationships, and closing deals for our construction services and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the construction industry.
Identify and qualify new leads through prospecting, networking, and market research.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, architects, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders within the construction industry.
Conduct effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our construction services.
Collaborate closely with the project management team, estimators, and other internal departments to ensure seamless project handover and customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement with clients, working closely with our legal and finance teams.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiate our services.
Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and services is highly desirable.
Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
Self-motivated and driven, with a results-oriented mindset.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
A bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
