Job Description
About the Role The Assessment Director oversees the composition and coordination of assessment of student learning outcomes and assists in the evaluation of academic programs in academic departments, integrates assessment activities and results with accreditation processes, disseminates obtained information among the school community and stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Relevant degree is required.
Experience:
Experience with formal assessment processes is required. Teaching experience is required.
Three or more years of relevant experience in assessment, or other areas where multivariate data analyses and research methods are performed.
Skills:
An understanding of statistical analysis
Effective communication skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Knowledge of the schools educational philosophy, college curricula, and instructional programs.
The ability to plan and conduct effective meetings.
Evidence of leadership ability.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a given time; ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines; flexible and responsive in working relationships.
Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills
Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to create, deploy and maintain large amounts of data, and to present those data in a concise, cohesive manner.
Strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities; strong deductive and inductive reasoning skills.

Supports systematic planning and change within the school community by administering a comprehensive, continual, and multi-dimensional assessment program of student learning outcomes and evaluation of academic programs, collaborating with SLT, MLT and teachers to integrate assessment and evaluation efforts, and integrating assessment activities and results with accreditation processes.
