Full Job Description
Description:
Effectively manage a high volume of
ups, DHL air freight, and sea freight enquires. Breakbulk pricing and
procurement experience are advantages.
Ensures the quality of the
quotes and proposals are maintained as per the set standards and
follow-up on quotes to ensure the conversion target is met by
department.
Experience with procurement from airline and shipping
line for both OOG/BB and general cargo is preferred.
Take complete
ownership of procurement of competitive rates from origin/destination
and ensure maximum conversion of quotations.
Create Pricing
Solutions for new business opportunities, utilizing financial models
and optimization tools.
Analyze customer data to develop
understanding of their shipment profile and service
requirements.
Develop efficient distribution solutions considering
carrier partner network capabilities.
Maintain customer and vendor
pricing information.
Assist with research and analysis of data in
support of client and management requirements.
Perform other
office related duties as and when required within the pricing,
operations departments with guidance and support should it be
required.
