LR is looking to hire a contractor EU&UK MRV Regulation Lead Verifier to be based in the Middle East.

Key duties of the role include:

– Delivering EU&UK MRV Regulation Monitoring Plan Assessment & Emissions Report verification adhering to LR and statutory deadlines

– Maintaining a professional attitude ensuring that guidance is provided to clients where needed acting as a source of expertise on regulatory requirements (no consultancy work delivered)

– Overseeing the work of team members where required to ensure the work is completed on time

– Supervising verifiers under training if and when needed providing appropriate guidance and support

– Managing and being accountable for each task assigned ensuring deliverables are available to the client on time

Here’s what you will need:

– Degree in science or similar discipline or equivalent experience

– At least 3 years of related professional experience in delivering MRV Monitoring Plan Assessment & Emissions Report verification

– Ability to work independently, as a team leader or as a team member

– Proof of EU&UK MRV training and Lead Verifier status

– Excellent oral & written communication skills

– Commercial awareness in a rapidly changing sector

– Maritime sector knowledge or background is necessary
