Roles & Responsibilities:
Monthly Result & Business steering
- Monitoring trade marketing investments (TMIs)
- Monthly accrual & provision management
- Monitoring customer profitability & providing insights.
- Ensuring TTS/SCOA compliance
- Financial pre/post launch evaluation of major customer promotions
- Ad hoc analyses for decision support
Reporting & Systems
- Standardized internal & external reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP (accrual / provision management, rebate modules etc.)
- Awareness of Unilever SCOA, control frameworks and external frameworks e.g., SOX.
- Knowledge of systems, such as Trade Planning Tools / Unify is an added advantage (relevant only for internal candidates)
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead & support in financial target setting and forecasting (GSV to TO)
- Provides financial support in customer/channel business planning.
Decision support
- Provides support by promo/activity planning.
- Provides insights in customer contribution.
- Provides financial support for annual negotiation with customers.
- Supports pricing decisions.
- Supports OPSO process.
- Supports S&OP process.
- Introduction training for new employees in CD & customer marketing
Projects
- Support in CD projects
- Lead in finance projects
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Financial Accounting background with 3 – 5 years of relevant i.e., controlling / business partnering experience.
- Strong numerical capability, analytical skills, and MS. Excel skills
- Basic SAP knowledge needed; advanced skills would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other functions e.g., Customer Development (Sales), Category & Business Teams, Supply Chain Teams and Teams managing distribution entities etc.
- Bias for action, self-starter and able to turnaround output quickly.
- Excellent communication skills.
