Couchbase is expanding our Business Development Team and has an exciting role to build relationships with Cloud Partners, Global System Integrators, Regional SIs and Technology Partners in the Region. Successful candidates will have experience working in a company selling applications, NoSQL, database, data warehouse or big/fast data technologies.
Experience with open source, SaaS and software marketplaces is also a key requirement.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing & acquiring Partners to drive new revenue streams, and build their territory plan. You will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and will contribute to the evolution of the partner model at Couchbase.
In collaboration with Sales, Sales Enablement and Marketing, your responsibilities will include:
Develop & Identify the most valuable partnerships in the Turkey, Middle East & Africa Region. Create the most effective contractual relationships with these partners Enable the partners to sell & deliver Couchbase products and services Develop joint marketing activities (such as webinars, conferences, meetups, lunch-and-learns) with partners to build pipeline. Enable joint sales activities at the field level and work with the field sales team to close partner sourced and influenced deals Manage the partner relationships across all these activities
Desired Skills and Experience:
5+ years of business development or partner management experience Built out a successful partner with a Cloud Partnership (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience working in a company selling applications, middleware, database, data warehouse, data integration technology or big/fast data technologies. Experience with open source and enterprise subscription software is also highly desirable. Experience of working with Global Systems Integrators, Regional SIs and Technology Partners Strong project management skills with a focus on building new relationships. Ability to influence and identify champions, both internally and externally
