Saif Belhasa Holding Hiring for F&B Cost Controller Job at Dubai Full Time

We are looking for a Cost Controller to manage our F&B sector. You will be responsible in dealing with the below:

Cost Control Work and Responsibilities:

Cost Control department functions more as a reporting tool for Finance and Operations.

Apart from preparing various reports for the management, key activities performed by Cost Controllers on periodic basis are as follows:

Monthly:

• Preparing outlet and brand wise F&B cost reports
• Ensuring inventory controls by physical inventory verification – spot random checks on up-to 40 items
• To ensure operations closing counts in SAPAAD, here used to cross check with their physical counted inventory sheet for all stores before finalizing inventory closing
• Analyzing brand inventory variance reports and align with the brand chef for action plan to control
• Preparing TOP 20 Positive and Negative inventory variance reports to understand the gap for a variance from operations side
• Explanation to be sought from operations for any variances noted on high value movable items
• Price fluctuation impact on COGS will be verify by month-on-month basis
• Top 20 sales mix report will be prepared for individual store wise and circulate to operations after 2nd day of month-end cogs released
• Analyzing COGS gap between Budget vs ACT, Theo vs ACT & ACT current year vs last year
• Preparing TOP 20 Menu Mix report and circulate to operations
• Cost control to follow up for reasons from operations. Any non-cooperation issues are to be highlighted to Sr. Management
• Cost and margin analysis are Appropriate actions to be taken based on cost and margin analysis. to be done on periodic basis to figure out items have higher COGS and measures of controlling the same
• Cost controllers to do the Yield Test of top selling recipe portions in comparison to approved recipe for all the outlets on regular basis
• Discount trending to be prepared and reviewed for abnormalities. Reasons for abnormalities to be sought from operations
• All kinds of adjustments to be verified and value to be reviewed by Cost Controllers
• Understand with the chef or outlets on the petty cash purchases monthly feedback to be taken
• Internal Cash Controls and implementation
• Implementation of Hospitality FNB system widely if management requires.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
