Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible to create visually compelling and effective multimedia content that supports the group’s marketing, branding, and corporate communications objectives. This includes designing original graphics, illustrations, and infographics, as well as filming and editing video content and developing interactive features for websites. The Senior Multimedia Designer is responsible for maintaining brand consistency across all visuals and ensuring the overall consistency of graphical style, typography, and tone, in order to accurately reflect the group’s corporate identity.
Job Responsibilities
Graphical Design
- Assist with all design projects from conception to delivery, including conceptualizing and designing campaigns, branding material, and social content
- Design original pieces, including illustrations, infographics, and animated graphics, to support corporate communications and marketing initiatives.
- Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services, and create digital assets such as motion graphics and visual media for digital display, web, and social media platforms
- Support corporate communications and marketing team with collaterals such as invitations, greetings, advertisements, and other promotional materials
Video
- Film and edit multimedia content for various brands within the group, and develop short and long-form videos to support corporate communications initiatives
- Create animated social content for product promotion campaigns
Brand
- Maintain brand consistency as per approved guidelines across all visuals, and ensure overall consistency in graphical style, typography, fonts, images, and tone
- Deliver web projects from concept to completion while adhering to brand standards, and build branded templates for emails, landing pages, online adverts, web banners, event collaterals, and product brochures for group companies to utilize in their communication
- Consistently work towards improving brand identity across all marketing channels, and update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video
Web Design
- Implement proven design principles for enhancing websites and adding interactive features, and optimize web user experience and site design for ease of use, navigation, and accessibility
- Assist development teams on digital projects, with knowledge of web and IT infrastructure
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Art or a related discipline is preferred
- Certification in Adobe Creative Suits is a plus
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience as multimedia designer
- Photography experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert knowledge of design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other standard tools utilized in the industry
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills, with an eye for detail and elegance in design output
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript
- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems
