We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Group Manager, Solutions Consulting to join our Global Professional Services team. This role is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Hybrid
WHAT WE DO:
Group Manager, Solutions Consulting will join Global Professional Services (GPS) practice within BNY Mellon. By guiding clients through software implementation cycle, GPS acts as a trusted advisor that ensures that BNY Mellon clients benefit from their investments in our technology and can leverage industry best practice in their daily operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Group Manager, Solutions Consulting manages teams of GPS consultants and managers that oversee a large or key set of firm solutions and is responsible for planning, budgeting, staffing, and managing large projects. In addition to resource management, there is a strong involvement in developing new as well as existing business.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Establish the strategic approach for solutions consulting within assigned area based on broad functional goals.
Provide the input into the development of key firm solutions and long term goals for the function.
For each supported project acquire and demonstrate working knowledge of the relevant product components as well as client business and data requirements.
Demonstrate the company’s processes and best practices for the adoption and utilization of solutions (e.g. driving product demos for clients and prospects).
Determine overall strategic positioning and targeted client segments for assigned solutions.
Demonstrate significant external activity in the market by conducting speaking engagements, liaising with industry and professional groups, and networking with strategic decision makers at clients and prospect.
Structure and synthetize firm offerings into solutions that address specific client needs.
Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth.
Guide staff in strategies for building adoption and utilization of firm solutions in the marketplace and ensure the team understands the competitive landscape and the industry environment.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Strong relevant work experience is required.
Financial industry experience is required.
Knowledge in the area of data management/accounting/performance in the financial services industry is required.
Knowledge of/experience working with Eagle Investment Systems products and services is a strong advantage.
People management experience is required.
