You will be part of the Career Impact Success Team within the Global Student Operations Organization, focussing on the mandate of solving the challenging, yet intellectually stimulating problem of maximizing career outcomes at scale through innovative career services. Career outcomes is one of Udacity’s for Government main value drivers, and engaging Udacity’s alumni community post-program completion through structured, innovative programs presents a hugely untapped potential to maximize career outcomes.
The role is an exciting one that will offer you a great vantage point at the intersection of product, strategy, partnerships, entrepreneurship, and community building activities. As part of your role, you will have the chance to wear multiple hats – from executing an outcomes strategy for Udacity, to reporting, and analyzing student career outcomes from thousands of Udacity students and alumni across the whole organization, to implementing partnerships with regional and local career / placement providers to assist in maximizing career outcomes like jobs placement. While you don’t have to be a tech expert yourself, you’re required to have knowledge about the tech job market and large scale alumni engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define student and alumni placement outcomes and alumni community engagement strategy for Societal Impact team in alignment with wider company strategy, market demand, student feedback, and key business differentiators
• Measure, analyze and report on career impact outcomes from multiple data sources to drive future student acquisition, career offering optimization, client success, client retention, and new client acquisition, as well as company-wide marketing
• Building and integrating data sources from third party career partners to report on outcomes
• Ideate and define structured initiatives to engage and place Udacity’s alumni community into jobs, and more; solution space includes partnerships, student services, and more
• Develop partnerships with global providers to build and manage Udacity’s alumni community and placement
• Manage alumni products and programs at scale with various entities, including government entities, semi-government entities, and donor corporations
• Support wider Marketing team to create client facing presentations for impact reporting, success stories, and for brand development
• Support the Business Development team in bidding for projects with career objectives – this entails proposal development for key global markets
• Manage alumni communities in major Societal Impact Programs to generate engagement and use as channel to pilot and launch Alumni Association initiatives
• Liaise between internal and external stakeholders at key milestones to deliver strong career outcomes
• Liaise with wider Udacity Careers team to pilot newly conceptualized career programs and evaluate their success against pre-defined KPIs and roll-out successful productized offerings at scale
• Develop coordinated pricing strategy for alumni offerings across global markets
• Nurture and maintain relationships with integrity and professionalism

What We Value

• Required: Ability to speak and write in English fluently; Arabic is a plus
• Strength in manipulating large sets of data and developing insightful presentations
• Entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness in conceptualizing and executing creative placement initiatives for thousands of Udacity graduates
• Entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness in measuring and collecting data on outcomes from thousands of Udacity graduates
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proven track record of managing conceptually complex workstreams and operating in ambiguous environments
• 3+ years of experience in partnership management
• 3+ years experience in defining and measuring student outcomes in learning and development in tech
• Ability to handle mid to senior level stakeholders and interfacing with partner teams independently
• Ability to quickly identify opportunities, collaborate with multiple team members and influence decision makers
• Ability to drive initiatives, execute independently and be resourceful
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage several work streams simultaneously
• Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-paced dynamic environment
