1.tKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• tAccounts payables

otRecording accounts payable invoices and payments

otPerform supplier reconciliations.

otTracking accounts payables aging and forecasting payments for cashflow forecasts.

otPerform bank & petty cash reconciliations and postings.

• tAccounts receivables

otPreparing and recording intercompany invoices and performing intercompany reconciliations.

otPreparing invoices for Clients based on project requirements and liaising with projects teams.

otRecording cash receipts and preparing a summary for cash forecasting.

• tGL accounting

otPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining schedules for prepayments, amortizations, leave & gratuity, and other accounts.

otPreparing and posting month-end transactions.

otSupport the Chief accountant in the preparation of VAT and Tax returns.

otSupport the Chief accountant in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.

• tProject accounting

otCreate and set up projects in Deltek with the work breakdown structure and update monthly based on changes in forecasts.

otCoordinate with the project manager for up-to-date project forecasts and EAC

otCreate new project codes for bid projects.

2.tSuccess Criteria

• tPrior experience in maintaining accounts for multinational businesses and experience in performing month-end transactions.

• tDemonstrate ability to analyze numbers and perform complex reconciliations.

• tDemonstrate ability to analyze data.

• tUnderstanding of the use of power query and power pivot or similar tools is desirable but not essential

Qualifications:

• tMust have a Degree in accounting or finance

• tProfessional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA) is desirable

• tMust have a minimum 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting

• tExperience working with Deltek or similar accounting systems is desirable but not essential.

• tExperience working with a service-based/consulting business is desirable but not essential.

• tPrior experience working for a Middle-East-based business is desirable.
