When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we’ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.

Role Summary
Responsible for managing Talabat MENA Treasury functions, with large focus on the day to day Treasury operational tasks,and banks relationships.
What’s On Your Plate?
- Support treasury and cash management operations and help develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
- Recommend and implement improvements to current cash management processes.
- Assist in managing and maintaining the company’s banking infrastructure, including bank and brokerage relationships.
- Manage capital market risks and interest exposures.
- Assist in preparing and managing annual working capital budgets and forecasts.
- Identify cost-saving and profit maximizing opportunities related to treasury.
- Oversee cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term investing and borrowing.
- Oversee wire payments, fraud prevention, FX management and hedging, bank account setup and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
- Support financing negotiations and capital strategy formulation.
- Understand and manage appropriate procedures and processes around month-end and quarter-closing activity.
- Support in borrowing and investing activities by analyzing and providing required data.
- Train and supervise treasury staff on developmental goals in support of the treasury department overall KPI’s.
What Did We Order?
- 5-7 years’ experience in corporate treasury operation, working capital optimization, and processes setup and improvement.
- Past experience of big international companies as a treasury analyst, or big international banks as a relationship manager..
- Demonstrate strong execution abilities by identifying, evaluating, tracking and mitigating issues and risks
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
