• Work experience / field: Managing materials, spares and assisting the teams, ideally teams are based in different or same locations. Relevant experience in operational, material management roles (especially manufacturing background) ideally in steel industry. Minimum 8-10 Years of experience will be essential to serve the role and responsibility
• Educational background: graduate, MBA(Preferred) or equivalent
• IT skills: Should be proficient in MS offices, basic understanding of SAP, CRM, Power Points
• Language skills: Fluency in English (English) and Hindi (Preferred) will be crucial while working with international team
• Other skills: Good team orientation
• Travel requirements: travel across the globe is may be one of vital requirement

About the job

The re-shaped Refractory Services will be a center of knowledge and resources when it comes to delivering best -in-class services to our customers. Increasing our efficiency in site operations will lead to more success for us as RHIM- but also for our customer and their business.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning the optimum level of inventory for managing the execution of the long-term service contract at our customers sites.
• Coordination with customer & CSR on time customs clearance from port.
• Monitoring & execution of incoming and outgoing of inventory from warehouse with safe handling practice.
• Monitoring day to day consumption of each area of the steel plant.
• Stock review every 15 days and placing new order, tracking all the material to fulfil the steel plant requirement.
• Working with cross functional team like Installation managers, supervisors, service technician, sales manager will be an essential task
• Ensuring Health and safety as priority in all contracts during loading and unloading or handling of the materials
• Driving and Implementing LEAN Management & continuous improvement in the region in relevant domain will be an additional task
• Performance Tracking of material, KPIs monitoring of all aggregates and identification of added value to better material planning and inventory management.
• Acting as counterpart of sales managers, service team, Supply Chaim and Manufacturing team will be an essential task to a set new target for the region
• Cooperating closely and exchanging with On-site service team and sales team in other region to ensure that best services are shared an implemented
• Will be responsible for the Improvement of Shop floor management through the technique like 5S, JIT, LIFO, FIFO etc

Your tasks will also include:

• Responsible for managing the materials and spares for smooth run of TRM contracts according to the defined guidelines
• Maintaining all the documentation related to Specific Consumption of refractories, Inventory Level , all relevant KPIs will be a core task
• Representing RHI Magnesita in front of the client, seeking full compliance with the contract, in order to guarantee the safety, quality, customer focus and controlled execution costs
• Regular coordination with the existing sales forces, service team and local contract coordinators for smooth execution of various contracts in his/her respective sites
