Job Description
LexisNexis is the leading provider of Legal & Regulatory Data within the Middle East. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to actively drive new business acquisition within the Compliance sector that can be identified with a need for the solutions provided by LexisNexis.
The role will be new business target driven and requires strong prospecting and closing capabilities.
Core Accountabilities
Drive new business acquisition and market penetration for LexisNexis Middle East
Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Account Management teams to generate new sales opportunities
Ability do build and execute a Go-To-Market strategy
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts with the purpose of expanding LexisNexis solutions across the designated territories and sectors
Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to ensure a strong new business acquisition pipeline using traditional, innovative and social selling methods
Build a strong New Acquisition Pipeline to ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets are achieved
Develop a strong relationship during the new business acquisition process and ensure a smooth handover after the acquisition to the Account Manager
Maintain a strong New Acquisition Pipeline with accurate deal closure forecasting
Maintain an accurate Pipeline with clean Customer/Prospect data in the CRM system
Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis
Experience
2 – 3 years of experience in Direct Sales preferable within the subscription sales segment
Fluency in English
Experience within the compliance sector is a must
High volume subscription sales experience is a plus
Demonstrated proven performance against sales targets
High level of presentation skills
Confident to communicate and negotiate with staff at all levels
Well-developed computer skills including Word, Excel and CRM System
